FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
How do I submit my film?
Submissions are due by 5 August 2026. Please submit your film as an MP4 file.
You can do this either in person by bringing a USB to Katherine Regional Arts at 19 Second Street (enter from O'Shea Terrace) or via our Google drop box. Check back here closer to the submission date for the link.
Where can I get more help with my film?
Katherine Regional Arts hosts open studio every Tuesday night from 5.30pm to 7.30pm. Come on in and we can brainstorm and work through any questions together. We also have lots of art supplies. If you want to make some props for your film, open studio is the perfect place to do it! We will also have more information available here soon which will step through the process of making a film. You are welcome to use it, or ignore it completely. There is no right way to make a film!
Who will see my film?
We are going to be showing films to the public on Saturday, 5 September 2026 at the Lindsay Street complex in Katherine. Everyone is welcome to come and watch. That means films must be suitable for a general audience. If there is swearing, beep it out. If your film is hateful or harmful, we won't show it.
